Hi, I noticed your FFA burner and would like more information. I am interested in useing this as a heat source and am wondering why you are only burning the FFA and not the glycerin also?
World Resources Institute is developing an online-based tool to help small, environmentally conscious companies calculate their CO2 emissions generated from electrical consumption. We are interested in speaking to companies like Piedmont Biofuels about whether they would have use for this tool as well as input they might have on how this tool could be most helpful.
It has been brought to my attention that the saxapahaw location has electrical conduit pipes that are broken causing a potential electrical hazard. Thanks!
We also generate a wax in one of our processes which contains fatty acid. It is a by-product. We are thinking about reusing it as a boiler fuel. We have flame in tube type boiler and we use furnace oil as a fuel.
Wax is solid in nature.
Can you suggest a way by which we can use the wax as a boiler fuel?
