Craigslist. Go to the city that you’re in, and cars & trucks, then enter diesel as a search word. Comes up with plenty of things.

AutoTrader. Auto Trader has the best search function because it allows you to search by vehicle type, fuel type and unlimited distance.

eBay Motors is a good place to look. Like AutoTrader it has search functions that make it easy to look for diesel vehicles although you might pay through the nose.

Fred’s TDI Club is a good site dedicated to Volkswagen TDI’s.

Cars.com is
good for searching, but you need to enter either TDI or Diesel in the “Optional Search words” field, and they let you search unlimited distance.

Cars Direct is okay for searching because they don’t allow for fuel distinction and you can only search for vehicles up to 200 miles from any zip code.

Greasecar classifieds lists 1 or 2 used diesel’s per day.

Mercedes Shop. Check the “for sale” section and the regular diesel discussion board because they both contain cars and equipment for sale.

The Diesel Stop is a decent place to find full sized diesel trucks and vans.

European Motorsport is a source for BRAND NEW complete VW TDI engines.

sKoolie is a good place to look for used diesel school buses.

BuySell.com is a Canadian site with a search for diesels and will give you a breakdown of vehicle types. Evidently, they have tons of toyota pickups as well as other makes, and many landcruisers. The landies are listed under “import SUV.”

Car Soup it is a compilation of many dealers listing their vehicles, but sometimes you’ll find a good deal from a private party. Includes a lot of refined searh options such as price, fuel, distance.
